Soon they came upon a familiar face. He was a young wolf. Tan fur. Blood covered his neck and paws. Next to him, it looked like a small note. It read: Dear Reyna and Maverick, Thank you for being so kind to me all these years. I’m glad this happened to me. That I got to die in the presence of my family. Just know, that I am happy here, and will be waiting for you. Whiteblood.
Reyna just read the first sentence and then she broke down. She curled down next to him, paw on his back. His nose was no longer cold or wet. His blue eyes didn’t show the happy puppy he always was. Reyna couldn’t accept it. He was too young. He had so much to live for. Reyna decided the only thing she could do was rest with him, comforting him even in death.
When Maverick finished reading the note, he stood with disbelief. He hadn’t known the pup for very long, but still bonded with him and he was family. He slowly walked closer to the body. Reyna realized he was too close and snapped at him.
“Stay away! You were never his family! You didn’t raise him!”She snapped, “You don’t deserve to be by him!”
At that moment, Reyna’s eyes went back to the blood red state and she went full crazy. As she went through the house ripping and tearing, all Maverick and the other dying wolves could do was sit in silence, listening to her rage.

A Fresh Start:
“Do you have a phone? I need to call a friend,” You ask Steve and he pulled out his phone, which had the Captain America phone case. You dialed the number and you talked with the other person for a while. Steve noticed that you started yelling into the phone towards the end of the call, starting to cry. Suddenly, you pressed the button to hang up and threw the phone on to the bed. You collapsed onto the carpet, your face in your hands. Steve almost immediately sat next to you, pulling you against him, stroking your hair. Steve gently rocked you back and forth, shushing you and telling you it was going to be okay.
“S-she...she hates me now…” you manage to say between sobs, your voice being slightly muffled by his blue shirt.
“Who?” Steve asks, putting a hand on your cheek.
“Arielle. My now ex-best friend…” you say, sniffling.
Steve wiped the tears off your face and helped you stand on your feet again. You walked with him until you got onto the balcony, where you kept your music. Steve decided to stay out of what was going on and left you to think or do whatever you needed to do on the balcony to become happy again. He even blocked the entrance to the balcony so nobody would disturb you. You stood on the balcony, remembering what Arielle had said to you. It repeated over and over in your head. You got out your headphones and started some music. “Animal I Have Become” by Three Days Grace starts playing. When Steve saw that you started to cry again, he rushed out to catch you. You were screaming but crying at the same time. Steve was holding you back from the edge of the balcony. The rest of team gathered at the window, watching but knowing to let Steve handle you.
