I gotta ask, where can I get experience if I wanna become a Gamma or a Sential?

A lot of the current WL got their moderation experience from being staff members on other chatsites, such as Chatlands. Some of us (such as myself) got experience from moderating games and forums, such as Transformice/A801. You build up experience overtime from staff positions on places like chatsites, forums, games, large Discord servers, etc.

Though, having previous moderation experience isn't required to become a Sentinel. It can be helpful to have knowledge on how to deal with certain situations that you may face with the position, but having little to no moderation experience does not mean you are less likely to be chosen for the position. After all, everybody has to start somewhere. We offer training to new Sentinels when they join the team and there are a lot of guides to read up on and follow once you become a member of the WL. At the end of the day, we are mostly interested in your answers to the application and interview questions as well as your behaviour and activity on-site.

What's better to upload your image in? JPEG or PNG?

PNG is better for poses because it holds transparency! other than that, PNG is better quality wise (usually) and JPG would be better for smaller file sizes (as far as i'm aware)
i could be wrong though

idk if this is possible or already in effect but maybe live room counters? like instead of refreshing to see how many people are in the rooms, it just automatically updates? it'd be useful for when a room is full and you're waiting to get in it so you don't have to keep refreshing. idk if........that makes sense i suck with words ha

stop nit picking poses that i've uploaded MONTHS ago. tell me what's wrong with them when i upload them, not months after when i've used it multiple times and now you're saying really nit picky sh*t about them. especially when it has to do with the art style. such a bad system for uploading.

I can't speak for everyone, and frankly I don't know the pose in question you are talking about. If you want to argue it, you can contact a WL privately in a civilized matter and present your case. We do talk about things, you know.

Sometimes I'll pull up someone's page and inspect all their poses at once and if I see something wrong, I'll counter them. Sometimes its an old mod who didn't ask them to crop, or I found the permissions statement to not be enough. There's not a concrete system because each mod is different and each pose is different.

If you see poses in rooms that are too big, or are art theft, and we accepted it, or haven't rejected them, you report them. It means it slipped by our notice. It happens. I don't know artists. Sometimes I'll be pinged with the message "idiot this is TRACED by this artist" and I'll be like SHIT I DIDN'T KNOW.

If you want to argue your pose, contact someone privately and be \polite\ about it. The way you're acting is extremely hostile and frankly, I nor will anyone be willing to assist you with an attitude like this.

asthmacat, primarily, the rejection reason for your pose containing a bee wasn't that it contains a bee but rather that the bee had a projectile trail of lines which were loose pixels and can't be interacted with. Nowhere in the rejectionr eason were you told to remove an interactable thing, such as the bee, but rather the trail the bee had in the pose, the thick black lines that indicated the bee's movement.
The poses were mistakenly accepted and mistakes do happen. I saw one of your poses in a room, and it wasn't following our custom pose guidelines so I rejected it along with another one. There's no reason to get this mad or frustrated over a situation like this. To add on, once your pose is rejected it goes into an Appeal state where when you resubmit the pose for approval it does not take your custom pose points away.

We would never reject poses due to personal preference of any sort. The Custom pose rules we put in place have a high focus on a general view of what people can do art-related, and are meant to be super fair to everyone, taking note of art styles, someone's ability etc, and so the poses have to comply to custom pose rules to be accepted

For reference, considering you made this feedback post public and not private, the poses in question were:
1) https://wolfkodi.dyndns.org/wolfing/usr/asthmacat/up/p/m/Mini2-1.png ; Reason/Statement: Please remove the lines around your pose as they cannot be interacted with and are considered stray pixels.
2) https://wolfkodi.dyndns.org/wolfing/usr/asthmacat/up/p/m/twodles-_PoseR-1.png ; Reason/Statement:
Please flip the pose and remove the lines that indicate movement seeing as they are not interactable with and therefore are stray pixels.

i think it would be helpful to make a tab like on the bottom of the page (or in the edit profile section) giving a list of codes you can use in your sniff, or ones you can copy/paste. for example, sometimes i want the spoiler boxes in my profile to be smaller, but i always forget how to do it. not saying you cant look it up, but it would be a fairly quicker way of editing profiles as well as easier access

there's already a code / sniff help page with multiple different codes in them; https://wolfkodi.dyndns.org/wolfing/profile?help
additional codes could possibly be added if they were requested enough

Hi Huk, I checked your poses and everything seems to be in order. Are you still having issues with those 5 poses you uploaded?

No. But I had to painfully upload them 0ne at a time.

From our records, those extra poses were never uploaded. Not sure about the pose points but you should be able to upload multiple poses at once.
