The Omega rank was used as a probationary tag to any user returning from a ban. It existed since the beginning of Wolfing. However, time and again it has proven to be ineffective at deterring users from getting banned. At best, some users wish to attain the Omega rank, but the only way they could do that was to get themselves banned. At worst, users abuse the flag indicator to ridicule or target Omegas for their past mistakes. Overall, it encourages users to talk about bans which is against one of Wolfing's rules. Therefore, effective immediately, Omegas no longer serve as a punishment rank. Current Omegas will be reverted back to their respective ranks. Outcast members who have finished serving their ban return to the pack and resume the rank they were previously in. The Sentinels will be Marching In The Wolfing Leader team has decided to add a new rank, Sentinel, that would focus primarily on custom pose moderation. While they primarily approve or reject custom poses, Sentinels may also moderate public room chats and hand out warnings and kicks to disruptive users. They can also take the TV remote from another user when necessary in TV rooms. We hope that this new rank would ease and distribute activity among the moderators, and offer more users the chance to contribute to the Wolfing community. The Pack Hierarchy description and a more detailed breakdown of the new and existing Wolfing Leaders ranks has been reflected in their respective pages. Howls (23) |
